Rachel is a versatile London based actor who trained at Bretton Hall, where she developed as a physical performer. She has since performed in a wide range of roles on both stage and screen, taking a lead role in her first feature film that went on to win a Best British Horror award, and can now be seen playing lead Lisa in feature film Bear on Amazon.
Rachel is a skilled singer, trained to grade 8 as a classical soprano, and with years of experience fronting a 25 piece Big Band has a versatile mezzo-soprano range. She also plays the clarinet which has seen her take on various actor-musician roles, has stage combat certification, and a love for Shakespearean text.
With devising and RnD experience Rachel is a creative performer with a keen interest in new work, and is always keen to take on challenging roles on screen as well. She has a strong accent range and is physically versatile, enjoying performance in drama, farce, physical theatre, clowning and new circus – which has seen her working alongside the Flying Seagull Project with refugees across the world.
During lockdown Rachel created mini series Isolation Tapes exploring different characters’ experiences with, and reactions to, the British lockdown through dark humour – the series is now available to watch online. Rachel is looking forward to her next on screen role.
