Jackson Foster was set up by Jerry and Liz Chubb in 2016. Liz has over 30 years experience working within the performance arts industry as an actress, director, producer, writer and teacher. As a director, Liz saw a gap in the market as she frequently came across very strong actors who, for whatever reason, did not have good representation. Jackson Foster was set up to fill this gap. Jerry had just left the City after 30 years working in banking and financial services. His business skills together with Liz’s desire to get talented actors the kind of work they are worthy of, gave Liz and Jerry the impetus to set up Jackson Foster as an agency dedicated to providing strong and professional performers to the theatre, television and film industry. 

Our Senior Agent Rachel Jenkins has an acting and directing background herself, giving her an understanding of the industry from her clients perspective. She is dedicated to representing the talent at Jackson Foster and is committed to developing and nurturing the career aspirations of her diverse client list. Rachel has always worked in the industry and believes that real, honest relationships are the key to building a successful career in this creative world. As such she has a personalised style of management in which she knows her clients implicitly and addresses every one of their goals as her own. 

Agent Lisa Varey trained in Contemporary Theatre at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts and continued her performance training with an MA in Musical Theatre at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has worked extensively in the industry as a Performer, Writer, Director, Producer and Theatre Manager and has collaborated with countless venues and theatre companies as an intrinsic part of their creative and casting teams. Lisa is passionate about sharing her knowledge, experience and creative contacts to help develop the careers of her clients. Her approach is personable and honest and, as she has experienced the industry from many angles, she is well-equipped to offer advice and support to cheerlead her clients through every step of their career.
