Madelaine is a Scottish actor who was born and raised in the small Scottish village of Edzell before moving to Edinburgh. Madelaine graduated from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2022 and during her training she was given the opportunity to write and produce her own work which was showcased in her final year.

In 2017 Madelaine toured ‘Balisong’ by Jennifer Adam, in and around Scotland – ‘Balisong’ was nominated for a Herald Award and won at the creative Edinburgh awards in 2018. In 2021, Madelaine played Pheobe in Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’ with Tread The Boards theatre company in Stratford-Upon-Avon as part of an Outdoor Theatre Festival. Madelaine recently played Charlotte in ‘The Last Slice’ by Eric Mok; this went on to win best comedy at the Florence film awards and was shortlisted at the Cannes film festival.  

Madelaine has a real love of comedy and is developing her stand-up skills at the Bill Murray Comedy Club, London. Madelaine is trained in stage combat, puppetry, folk singing and physical theatre.
