James has a broad range of professional experience on both stage and screen, as well as performing in a series of bilingual (French/English) performances this year. He is particularly interested in modern interpretations of classic(al) texts, and the impact of incorporating physical theatre techniques.
In 2020, James co-founded the Cheap Art theatre company, producing and starring in sell-out show Mosquito at the White Bear Theatre in January 2022. He is passionate about creating small-scale work that holds ‘play’ at its core, giving artists the freedom to explore and experiment without expectation.
