Shammi is a highly skilled actor, linguist and director based in London who has a broad depth of experience performing professionally for many years on both stage and screen. He is a keen traveller with a passion for languages and not only has his work taken him around the world; from shooting Bollywood films in India, to playing traumatised refugee Yusuf in Time of Darkness in Norway with Norwegian director Toni Usman, but as well as English he can also speak Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu fluently and is working on Italian at present.
Shammi is a passionate actor always learning new skills and training with regular Meisner Technique classes. He has an incredibly interesting skill set including translating Shakespeare and Checkov into several other languages, writing his own plays, directing on screen and he is also a licenced pilot. Shammi is currently writing a spy thriller feature film set in Europe during WWII based on a true story and is always broadening his screen repertoire as an actor looking for interesting new roles to play.
