She is a versatile performer and has portrayed a wide range of characters. Recently, Sue played the role of Florence Foster-Jenkins in Glorious by Peter Quilter, followed immediately by the contrasting role of Michelle in Other Lives, a new play by Ian Townsend.
Sue’s passion for acting has led to a colourful range of theatrical experiences including success at gaining LAMDA certificates as an external student, qualifying and working as a Drama teacher, owning and running a pub theatre and performing in many murder mystery events. A recent addition to the list is working within medical role-play.
While Sue’s great love is for the stage, she has recently discovered a passion for Film and TV work. Her latest film Answering to the Governor is due for release soon. Sue hopes to continue enjoying stage work whilst working on increasing her filming experience.
Sue’s passion for acting lies in her love of words. Because of this, she enjoyed developing her voice recording skills at ALRA and is very much looking forward to the possibility of recording more audio work soon… She would love to be cast in a radio play.
